Default Multibeast? What is it? How do I use it?

Basic title... what is multibeat and how do I use it. I understand that i might need the program for updating my OSX and backing up kexts/drivers and what not. Can anyone be as BASIC and SIMPLE as possible and explain what multibeast is? Thanks in advance.

Multibeast is a tool created by the TonyMac`s team that basically is a "Multi Installer" package...

Containing kext for Audio, Video, Lan, some fixes, some apps and some utilities...

It`s a good tool that help lot`s of new users, but you still need to know what install for each device...

Different than install OS X using Nawcom ModCD, that during the installation process, detects all supported devices
    and automatically install needed kexts...

Ahh i see. For instance, I used the iPC Snow Leopard 10.5.6 Distro. The beginning of the install allow you to click "customize" which gives you the privilege of being able install various kexts and patches under your circumstances. Which some of my hardware is not compatible.. Would using multibeast be an advantage? Would multibeast be able to instal my specific kexts for my specific hardware?

    What`s your hardware specs???

I Believe that is better if you try Snow Leopard (10.6.X) instead of Leopard (10.5.x)...

Lot`s of cool apps can`t run on OS X Leopard...

Use Nawcom ModCD as Bootloader + Retail Snow Leopard DVD to install on your machine...

Post your progress here, that way after the installation we can begin the post installation steps...

Sorry forgive my ignorance, but I'm not too sure how to follow the steps you provided. How would I got about doing this? again, sorry for my lack of intelligence in this area. I'm not familiar with bootloaders and what not. I just kinda popped in the disc. But if you could help me update with that process you just gave me, i'd love to try!

    No worries...

It`s very easy in true... You just need to boot your machine using Nawcom ModCD, when the boot device screen appears, eject Nawcom ModCD, put your OS X Snow Leopard DVD, wait about 15sec and press F5 key...

Will appear an option to boot your OS X Snow Leopard DVD, move the selection to him but before you press ENTER, write the flag`s below and then press ENTER...

    Code:
    cpus=1 busratio=9 arch=i386 -f -v
After this, just install the system, Nawcom ModCD automatically install all needed Kernel and Kexts (if needed / supported) and after the installation you only need to use ModCD to boot your already installed system and install Chameleon boot loader...

Any help that you need, just ask here...
