Default IntelHD Graphics Problem on Toshiba Satellite C640 (iAtkos S3V2, 10.6.3)

    Hi There,

I've been able to make 10.6.3 works on my lap, toshiba Satellite C640 with iAtkos Distro.
But now my resolution is stuck at 1024x768, and no kext loaded, so... no QE/Ci.

    My installation method,

I was using USB flashdisk to install with chameleon bootloader RC5 (RC4 will also work).
The following is checked during the installation:
    Chameleon RC5
    Extra folder
    Fakesmc
    disabler
    ApplePS/2

    Installation complete,
    Restart -x -v

    Restart No flag.

    Here is my com.apple.boot.plist:
    <key>Boot Graphics</key>
    <string>Yes</string>
    <key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1366x768x32</string> (this is my native resolution but doesn't work!!!!)
    <key>Kernel</key>
    <string>mach_kernel</string>
    <key>Kernel Flags</key>
    <string></string>
    <key>Quiet Boot</key>
    <string>No</string>
    <key>Timeout</key>
    <string>5</string>
    <key>arch</key>
    <string>i386</string>

Here is my Graphics status from profiler:

    Display:

    Type: GPU

I've tried the kexts for IntelHD Graphics from 10.7 but the system refuse to boot. Stopped at ACPI_SMC....bla bla..

To get IntelHD Graphics working on Snow Leopard you need a i3 / i5 / i7 Arrandale processor and at least 10.6.7 update...

    IntelHD Graphics for i3 / i5 / i7 Sandy Bridge only on Lion 10.7.X...
    GA-P67A-D3-B3 Firmware Ua6 / Core i5-2300 Sandy Bridge / Geekbench

I'm a newbie when it comes to kext's and macs in general, I got a hand with this hackintosh but I usually find my way around things searching and reading when I have the time.

I know I have still tons to learn on this subject but any directions on this matter is appreciated

my laptop is a gateway id49c07u

    intel I3-350M processor
    Intel HD Graphics

after installing snow lepard 10.6.3 and not being able to start after the update I got stuck on that version, I did hours on research and reinstalls and came to the conclusion that I had to leave on this version with a graphics issue and an intermittent usb/mouse problem

recently I've being looking to get a kext for my display/graphic card,

this is the info that populates on the system profiles

    Unknown:

    Chipset Model: Unknown
    Type: GPU
    Bus: Built-In
VRAM (Total): 64 MB of Shared System Memory
    Vendor: Intel (0x8086)
    Device ID: 0x0046
    Revision ID: 0x0002
Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded
    Displays:
    Display:
    Resolution: 1024 x 768
    Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888)
    Main Display: Yes
    Mirror: Off
    Online: Yes

Is there a kext I need to look for in particular? would I have to update (which I tried in every way possible but I can't get the laptop to start afterwards) ?

any help or directions are really appreaciated

HD3000 will work with (Mountain) Lion, HD4000 iGPUs are supported in OSX 10.8 only.
The earlier Intel HD (before 2010) do not work, some VESA resolution in 10.6 or 10.7 is possible of course.
Not that I would recommend that.

Intel HD Graphics is now totally supported with QE/CI but only on Mountain Lion [GUIDE] 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics QE/CI - Intel - InsanelyMac Forum

    OS X 10.8.2 // Windows 8 Pro
    Intel Pentinum P6200

    No objections.
Arrendale, Intel Core i cpus should work.
Now we only need to know whether the c640 has a P6100 or anything else.
