Thread: update to 10.6.8 in hp pavilion dv5 1142la

this is my problem i have my laptop with snow leopard 10.6.6 using the nawcom ModCD v0.3
because i need use new apps my version doest work
how i can update to 10.6.8 with no reinstall again

specs
procesador= intel t3000 pentium dual core 2 gh
RAM= 4 gb ddr2 800 mhz
graphics= intel 4500mhd
wireless= broadband ( use broadband fix)
ehternet = doest use

Install this Chameleon and reboot > http://www.kexts.com/view/1676-chame..._[vs].html

Remove the kexts below from /System/Library/Extensions or /Extra/Extensions (if you have)...

SleepEnabler.kext
VoodooHDA.kext
dsmos.kext

Download Update Combo 10.6.8 from here > Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1

Reboot...

Boot the system using this flag`s > -f -v

And if you get any Freeze / Error / Kernel Panic, take a picture in Verbose Mode and paste here...
