You don`t need to use Legacy Kernel as you have a Intel Processor...

Try to boot your system using this BootCD > Hackboot V7 - Downloads - Kexts.com

If you be able to boot your system using the BootCD, read this thread, open the 10.6.8 pkg and copy "mach_kernel" to the root of your OS X partition > http://www.kexts.com/guides-tutorial...-pacifist.html

Maybe you can't boot your system because of your Optimus Video, if you use GraphicsEnabler, disable and if you use any video kext like NVInject/NVEnbaler remove it and try to boot again...

Also check if you have FakeSMC.kext and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext on /System/LibraryExtensions or /Extra/Extensions...

You need also to update your Chameleon, use Chameleon Wizard to do that...

You are using SMBios for a MacMini... There`s only one model of MacMini that uses Core i5 processor (5,1) and that was just released...

What kind of error you have??? Kernel Panic???

If yes, take a picture and place here... Other thing that you can try is to update first to 10.6.7...

    Just try the update 10.6.8...

I think that everything will be OK, but if you still having troubles, just ask here...

To install Lion, try this > myHack | Taking the iFail out of iHack
