Thread: restoring an OSX 10.6.8 Hacktintosh time machine to a legit iMac 10.7.2?

Hi,

I am restoring an OSX 10.6.8 Hacktintosh time machine to a legit iMac 10.7.2. Do I need to alter the Hackintosh time machine backup before restoring my new iMac from my Hackintosh backup?

I restored from an OSX 86 Time Machine backup based on 10.6.8 to an iMac 10.7.2. The iMac is not happy - I am in the process of restoring the iMac to factory settings.

I do have another question to tack on - when I was using my Hackintosh 10.6.8, I could not boot the system with an external HDD attached. Would I have the same problem with the iMac?
