will this work on my Inspiron 1525
    Intel C2D 1.66ghz T5450 processor
    250 gb SATA HD
    2gb 667 mhz RAM
    GMA 965 graphics card

I have iatkos s3 v2 already installed however it wont sleep and i have to use a sleep trick to show the screen at startup. I tried installing 10.6.6 and got a kernel panic and 10.6.8 with 10.6.8 helper and also kernel panics. Do i need to change the kernel or is it fine,i didnt have to edit the kernel on install of iatkos so it should be vanilla kernel.

Edit: Well thank GOD it worked after many failures with other methods. Now when my computer boots, a gray screen followed by a black screen shows up. I have to use a hotkey to wake the screen still, and the computer will not sleep and idk how to fix this.

Of course, it can be work to your inspiron 1525. But you should follow many steps that I wrote in this page.
For your problem about sleep, you should use multibest on tonymac86, In this application there are some drivers which can help your problem. but you should be carefull on chose many options when you install multibest, Because multibest can’t be restored if you failed.
About your problem, it happened also to me. At the time, I used that application (multibest).
    Good luck.

Patched dsdt, used the multibeast and it still boots a black screen and sleep option shuts the computer off for a split seconds and turns it back on. Tried reinstalling with no luck.
