Cool New to osx86 , trying to install snow leopard on acer aspire 7720z laptop

Just as it says above i am kinda new to the mac os and am trying to get a feel for using macs over windows by installing mac os on my laptop which is a acer aspire 7720z.

I got the snow leopard install disk by hazard , it says

Snow leopard 10.6.1-10.6.2 SSE2 SSE3 INTEL AMD By hazard

for the disc title (For those wanting to know the install disk version )

I got the mac os installed successfully finally but dont know if i am doing things right in the setup when i install . i had to install this os like 40 times on the pc with differant options checked each time just to get this far .

So far i got the pc going but no wifi and no graphics installed yet , also i installed a package i think voodoo batery now after reset my mouse cursor is disapeered, i can still get the dock to come up at the bottom of the screen so i am assuming something just made the cursor icon for the mouse go away now cursor is invisible lol.

I am prob going to just reinstall again to fix issue with mouse so i wanted to get some help on my new fresh install so i can get things running properly.

So what do you guys need as for info to help me get this installed and me learning about mac lol ?

I can give you my system info a million diff ways but i assume maybe you guys may have a program like cpu id or cpuz that you guys like to use for getting my hardware info ?

Sorry if i am asking stupid questions ,plz dont flame the n00b lol

Anyone else have any links or info i can read over ?

I seem to be getting stuck at having the right graphics drivers for my card, would i be able to just download the drivers for the chipset i have on pc ? If i had a chipset driver it should install the graphics card and some of the other hardware i have on this pc right ?

To get Snow Leopard running on your machine, the best way is using a Retail OS X Snow Leopard DVD and Nawcom ModCD as BootCD...

The installer itself automatically scan your system and install needed kexts and kernel (if needed)...

Try this way and came back here for post installation steps...

So how does this method work ? just a boot cd you put in first then it asks for retail cd for install and thats it ?

Is there a way to have the boot cd and the retail copy all in one cd like hazards installer ?

just had some extra questions while i wait for cd to burn
