Dear Yandri, all you have to do is:
1. kext wizard (Kext Wizard 3.7.3 - Downloads - OSx86.net)
2. (http://www.osx86.net/view/961-voodoo...and_mouse.html) / (http://www.osx86.net/view/961-voodoo...and_mouse.html) if u available you have to do is:
1. Open kexts wizard> select instlation> browse to where you saved the kexts (no.2)> Open option> browse navigate to where you saved the file no.2> press alt (on windows = cltr) mark the 2 kext (PS2 Mouse & Keybord/AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext and PS2 Mouse & Keyboard/VoodooPS2Controler.kext
Destination mark System / Lybarry / Extension> adjust the target disk partitions to install mac os x (in this case I call my partition Mac Os X)> press install
if there are any error messages just continue or ok until finished (this is because the name of the kext is similar / same), after installed go to > Maentenance > mark Extra and System Labarry> press Execute, and then reboot your computer.

Upgrade issue
Hi.
Thanks for the method. But after following this method, I got to 10.6.8 and then I could never boot. It kept getting kps during the boot process. I downgraded back to 10.6.3 and came back up to 10.6.7. In the process I gained QE/CI but lost sleep. In fact, even though I have set sleep to 'never' it still crashes with a kp if left unused for a couple of hours. BUt I can live with that!
Would really like to get to 10.6.8 as that is rock solid on a regular mac (6 year old macbook).
This is what happens. I go into a weird situation where kexts would be loaded upto a point: DSMOS arrives, SMC is loaded etc. After it comes to ntfs drivers the screen goes black (too quickly for me to take a picture) and gives me a white block cursor - like a terminal window gone full screen. I can type and then see some info on the screen. After a few seconds, it goes back to the block cursor.
Booting with -s leads me to the same situation when I type exit. Booting with -x leads me to the login screen, but no mouse everytime and no keyboard some of the time. (weird!) I have reinstalled the AppleIntelACPI kexts from 10.6.7 using the boot dvd, but still no luck. I have also tried deleting caches and rebooting.
Is there anything that I can do?
Thanks again
A
Did you down load MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.8.dmg from apple and run it your self or did you just try to update from SoftwareUdate in the Apple menu at the top lefthand corner of your screen?
Do the download method.
Download MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.8.dmg
download legacy_kernel-10.6.8.v2.pkg.zip from this site
download Kext Utility.app.zip from this site if you don't have a copy.
mount the update dmg and run MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.8.pkg from it.
When it is finished DO NOT RESTART your computer yet.
Unzip and run legacy_kernel-10.6.8.v2.pkg. The installer program may quit. That is ok, just run it again.
Unzip and run Kext Utility.app to set all the permissions of both /Extra/Extensions and /System/Library/Extensions.
Now you can reboot.
MMM? Before I forget, this particular method is for AMD processor machines. For Intel machines the proceedure is the same but uses a different kernel. I am not sure what that one is.
Asus M4A78 mb, AMD Athlon II 250, ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics, 2gig memory, both EIDE and SATA harddrives. And USB drives. All bootable.
OSx86 10.6.8 with bootloader installed by Chameleon Wizard.X86_64
OSx86 10.7.5 with newest bootloader installed by Chameleon Wizard.X86_64
Thanks Alaskan.
Yes I used 10.6.8 combo update - not software update. And I am on an Intel processor - core2duo on a 945 motherboard, with intel gma950 graphics.
I should have mentioned that. My apologies.
