Default [NEED HELP] Booting MAX OS X 16.3

    Hi There,

I just installed Mac OS X 10.6.3. successfully on my PC. I installed Chameleon 2.1. so that I can boot Mac OS X. But I always have to type in the following text (otherwise my PC would restart): -v -f cpus-1 busratio=20 arch=i386 PCIRootUID=1. So the problem is, I really don't like to type in these long commandos each time. So does anyone know an solution for this?

In an other thread someone told about Chameleon Wizard. I used this tool and tried to install it, but it each time says that it cant download the file and that I have to establish a connection to the internet. I am connected to the internet, I must be online because I downloaded the Chameleon Wizard zip file. Does anyone knows a solution for this?

    This is my PC Setup
    - Motherboard: ASUS M4A79T Del
    - Processing Unit: AMD X4 II965
    - RAM Memory: 8GB

This should be some essential information about my setup, If you would like to know more, contact me.

    Thank You for your help,

(Oh BTW the title should be 10.6.3)

For me, AppliArts guide and Nawcom´s Mod CD did the magic.
My AMD box worked with 10.6.3 out of the box.

Maybe you could try the Chimera bootloader and prevent Chameleon Wizard from upgrading?
Just make your settings with the Wizard as it was when you downloaded.

    Hi Again,

Thank you for your reply, I just solved the problem. But got a new problem now, when I type manually -v -f cpus-1 busratio=20 arch=i386 -force64 PCIRootUID=1 as a command, the pc starts up just fine, but I cant select both of them in the program wizard.

    Anyone a solution?

    Thank you

Of course, you are trying to boot with both option 32 and 64Bit...

    Thats what I thought too.
    arch=i386 will call 32bit booting.
-force64 will enable booting into 64bit operating system.
Thats why you cant select both in the wizard, your oprions are 32bit or 64bit.
