Hi, I have been playing around with Hackintosh for a couple of weeks. I have a Mac so know my around a little bit.
My first attempt was with 10.5.2 on a P4 , did the install without any options selected,( I needed something to measure it by ) went very well considering.
I then took a punt with 10.5.2 on an AMD setup with an ECS M/B. Was amazed at the ease and results, near perfect.
Then went for 10.6.. result looked good but nowhere near as 10.5.2. When I went to restart it refused, so forced the re boot. And then the trouble started. The BIOS had been altered. Made the changes but at every boot had to reset the BIOS first boot option.
I then pulled out another AMD comp this time with a Gigabyte M/B installed really fast and easy, but got the exact duplication of the ECS install.
I would appreciate any help on this slight prob.
regards,
Eddie.
