    Smile Hazard 10.6.2 To 10.6.7


    1.Go to System Preferences and click Energy Saver
    2.Drag two line cursor to never posision and unclick Put the hard disk bla..bla..and Allow power button bla..bla..
    3.Remove SleepEnabler.kext on Sytem/Library/Extensions Folder
    4.Run Disk Utility and click Repaired disk permissions and restart or reboot
    5.Remove caches folder on system/library
    6.Remove caches folder on library folder
    7.BackUp IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStroageClass.kext on Sytem/Library/Extensions Folder
    8.Install 10.6.7 UpdateCombo>wait to finish>Don't Restart or Reboot Computer
    9.Copy IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStroageClass.kext (U BackUp) to Sytem/Library/Extensions Folder
    with kexthelper.app
    10.Run Kext Utility>wait to finish>Restart or Reboot Computer

    Hi, I followed your guide but it does not work. After reboot it freezes at (netkas presents fakesmc, bla bla bla). How can I solve this problem?

    thanks for the help. i followed all steps and after the update when i restart the pc i get following error even if i delete SleepEnabler.kext or use flag pmVersion=0

    system uptime in nanoseconds ##########

    Make sure that you removed SleepEnabler.kext from /Extra/Extensions and/or /System/Library/Extensions...

    If yes, boot using -f -v flags...

    Yes deleted from both places ans booting with -v -f cpus=1 busratio=20 pmVersion=0

    This is strange...

    If you have no such kext on the system and is booting using -f flag, you should not have a Kernel Panic due to the SleepEnabler kext...

    Did you have a backup partition (two installations of Snow leopard on the same machine)???

    yes I have 2 installations of snow leo on same machine. one is to clone to other drive to avoid re-installation again and again.

    Delete SleepEnabler.kext from your clone too and try again...

    i deleted that kext from both places but now im getting this

    Couldnt alloc class "AppleRTC"
    netkas presents fakesmc, a kext which emulates smc device
