ok cool and did you read my edit
Ah, I read it, gimmie a sec
EDIT: Okay, so what did you install on your laptop now? I have no experience with laptops what so ever. I'm a little confused. Did you try to install snow leopard on your laptop, or are we talking about the problems on your desktop?

yes after fresh install and laptop iv it on my amd desktop with no problem but my laptop gives a white screen after booting
Alright good, now that we are on a roll. What is your laptop? I may edit this later btw
its a hp compac c500
You may want to boot up using iAtkos.
If it still does not work then this is how I would install it (not sure if this would work for a laptop):
If you wish, you can use iAtkos, but since I am going for the installation that covers most computers I would be using Nawcom's Mod CD and a Retail disc.
Step 1: Insert Mod CD, boot up and then switch mod CD with the retail disc. Press F5. If it is an AMD laptop then use -force64
Step 2: When inside of the installation screen, use disc utility to format your drive (Make sure you don't kill any windows drives if they are there)
Step 3: Goto the customize tab before you install the Os and goto custom options. And make sure you have all of the kexts that you need checked
Step 4: Take out the retail CD and boot back up with Mod CD. Then you should see yourself at the setup screen
If you get that far and the setup screen is not white tell me. If you are still using iAtkos then just replace Mod CD with everything that was listed above.
I would also try posting it in the laptop part of the forums. There is bound to be someone who did this before.
Tell me how it goes, sorry for the wait
