Ok i tried but failed. It won't work:-(
I did the retail install with nawcoms bootcd but the about your mac window shows an intel core duo cpu
But i have amd could this be the problem?
I thought retail install would be much better i was reading about it here.(more compatible , less issues)
I also updatet my hazard setup,
But it won't boot anymore tried all bootflags.i think because of the old kernel
How do i get the kernel for 10.6.8 on it?
Is there any way to do this?

Is there an 10.6.8 retail disc on market? So i could start with it first?

After the install your suppose to install the kernel for the update you want try a different combo update or try to go up to 6.7 then 6.8 but after the install finishes install the kernel for them also it might be easier to text than through this (818)730-7016 good luck

Ok i did it with my hazard setup. I don't know really how but its on 10.6.8
I think its because of the new chameleon bootloader i installed.
But the nvidia update won't work. it still says you need 10.6.8 to install.
I also tried to upgrade my retail but when i installed the legacy kernel for 10.6.8 and updated to 10.6.8 through apple server it says can't find legacy kernel in chameleon. I don't know how to get it working at all.
Whats that number for? I'm from germany.what do i have to do after installing the kernel i've read something that i have to edit the boot.plst but in it the legacy kernel is allready typedin.
I'm almost 98% in there only the updates and graphics don't work.

Try opening it and installing the pkg separately otherwise I'd say try a different legacy kernel maybe the one for lion

Ok i think now i found the issue
I installed retail with nawcom boot cd 0.32
Sound works out of box internet works but updates won't work
Then i installed with nawcom modcd
Sound don't works internet works and updates works

So now my question is why!!!???
Whats the difference

Which sound kext is used on nawcom 0.32 so it works out of box???

The nvidia update still won't work even if i open the mpkg and install manually
And when i try to install over main package i get the you need at least 10.6.8 to install error!!??

What the hell is going on there?
I tried the voodoo hda kext you gave me but it also wo'nt work

I can smell the mac experience i'm almost there bur what is the problem now.
And whats that number for you postet is this telephone?

Yes I thought it would be easier because I live in California, anyways have you tried iboot legacy it might fix the graphics or try lion, also as to the graphics explain what the problem is as to looks and resolution.

Ok i managed to get my gts 450 working:-) yeah
But the sound is my big problem.
If i could know which sound kext is used on nawcom boot cd, so it works out of the box, i should get it working.
I tried some different voodoo kexts alc662 and even apple azalia but no sound or i get kernel panics.

Whats the difference between these two cds
I tried to install all the kexts with kext utility
What am i doin wrong its totally unlogical.
There are so many kexts and no one works please help

And why i can update without problems withe nawcon modcd
But i can't with nawcom boot cd

That's an easy fix mount the naw com cd and click explore and look in extras it should be there

I know that its easy to get the kexts of the cd. But idon't know which one is used by my sytem.
And i got it working two minutes after my recent post.
With the oldest voodoo kext in multibeast snow leopard.
But how it should be i ran into another problem:-(
The appstore won't work when i try to sign in
I get unknown error:-(
and i get fermi freezes because of my nvidia gts450 after enableing quartz.
I patched dylibs. Ran trough marvins amd utility to fix cpuids. And even found a solution for the fermi freeze.
Today i decided to retry hazard 10.6 on an other disk
And i got everything working
Graphics,sound,internet and even the appstore.

I can't understand the problem with appstore on my retail setup,i thought distros are bad and can't work
better than retail setups, that's the prove.
But i'm happy to have at least hazard working perfectly:-) yeah
