    What is the best way to install Mac os x 10.6 in a dell inspiron m5040 virtualbox amd pc?

    Dell Inspiron m5040
    AMD E-450
    6.00 GB DDR3 @ 541MHz
    Dell Inc. 0RXDMJ
    Generic PnP Monitor (1366x768@60Hz)
    AMD Radeon HD 6320 Graphics
    466GB TOSHIBA MK5075GSX SATA Disk Device
    MATSHITA DVD+-RW UJ8C1 SATA CdRom Device
    IDT High Definition Audio CODEC

    And what version iATKOS should i use?
    I want my virtual machine to have sound and that it can update to 10.6.8.

    If I were you, I'd do a standard install first, then reinstall with anything you may need if anything goes wrong.

    Don't want any unnecessary drivers in there!

    I install it and now it is stuck on apple logo what to do now?

    Hard to say, boot with -v boot flags and take a picture when it seems to be stuck

    When I do nothing the boot loader shows this (Hibernate image is to old by 265 seconds. Use ForeWake=y to override) and when boot with -v it stays stuck.

    Hibernate image? That must mean your hibernate mode is not 0...

    Run this, if you can, in single user mode (-s):

    Code:
    sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0
    You may or may not need "sudo" at the beginning of the command.
