Default DELL Inspiron 15r or N5010

    Dear, Good day!

I am a few days trying to install MAC OSX86 in my dell inspiron 15r.
I know it is possible to install it, though I could not hit it. Only with some workarounds.
The first is that I use a boot disk, I can not remember what they ended up losing his source. I know the start screen it has an "X". Then I put a DVD with the distro I install iAtkos and S3 (to put straight the iAtkos boot does not start).
Well. After installing the iAtkos I can only enter the OS with the boot disk used during installation. I tried to change the Chameleon by the same boot disk but could not.
Another detail, I tried to install kexts but after putting them in the extensions folder, no longer entered in OSX. I'm cracking my head, lowering distros "at random" seeing if any hit. hehehehe
Ha! Wifi not get it to work, even putting their Kext folder.
Another detail, after installing iAtkos, I tried to update to version 10.6.6 with the Combo update, but gave no error and then also went over. Anyway ... already formatted the partition at least a 7 times and yet not get any satisfactory result.

    Can you help me?

Setting goals is i5 460 2.53GHz (MMX, SSE (1, 2, 3, 3S, 4.1, 4.2) EM64T, VT-x). The MOBO it is a dell model 08R0GW Havendale / Clarkdale Host bridge chipset and Southbridge HM57. It has 4 GB of Ram and video card Intel (R) HD Graphics.

    Thanks!!!

you sould use the latest version of Iboot (bootCD) and a original osx DvD and finish the installation with multibeast do a easy beast
installation think voodoo sound and battey sould work for the sound and batery meter. voodoo ps2 or macnub sould make the keyboard work.
there is no driver for your videocard.

Vanilla kernel should be compatible with Core i5.

Do you ever try in Dell N5010 i5 [email protected] iBoot+multibeast process. It shows a lot of errors.

    Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron N5110 with i5-2410M. I try many method, iAtkos, iBoot, Original, 10.5, 10.6 but the result is kernel panic. I try CPUS=1 busration=20 boot parameters, but it didn't help. I think the problem is my CPU.
10.6 works perfectly on Virtual Box (net, sound, keyboard)

    Has someone any idea?

try iatkos s3 v2 with the following flags "busratio=13" for i3 or "busratio=17" for i5
