    Default Freezing on apple logo

    Hello everyone,

I have a little problem. When I try to install Mac OS X 10.6 I always stuck on a freezing Apple logo. I use chameleon + an original Macbook Pro instal dvd.

I have tried to use iAKTOS S3 but there a have an error called efi_inject_get_devprop_string null trying stringdata.

    My hardware:

    CPU: Intel i7-950 3.07GHz
RAM: 6GB ram ( I remove 4 gb for the installation)
    Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5700

I hope you guys can help me a bit.

The iBoot and Multibeast method should work best here. Your GPU is fully supported, aswell as your chipset. Get it here

I dont think it will be possible to use a single hdd for both OS, better you install it on a different hdd (USB or internal) using GUID PARTITION TABLE and MAC OS X JOURNALED file system. BTW, SL needs less than 10 GB space to install.

It is in fact possible to install both operating systems on one hard drive, which is easy when you install OS X after Windows. Make sure you created a NTFS partition and one HFS+ partition in a external partition editor, like GParted. After the installation of OS X ,Chameleon automatically detects your Windows partition.

@solbean : Did you activate AHCI in your BIOS?

ok, but how so? I mean windows does not support booting whilst GUID partition table, and SL does not like MBR partition table. So what kind of partition table needs to be used?

Whats the partition table scheme? Also have you disabled EIST? Set HPET to 64 bit?
