With the above method were you able to get QE/CI when booting into 32bit?
Or did you have to install the Snow Leopard next to enable it?

As far as I can tell, QE/CI is working from install + arch=i386 boot.
I have seen a lot of places on the web saying that we can never get the HDMI out to work on a hackintosh because its not natively supported and then other people saying we can because it is now supported on MiniMac's. I'm wondering since MacBooks have a DisplayPort that you can get an adapter to HDMI is not not possible to edit the GMA 3100 kexts to recognize our HDMI out as a DisplayPort with the adapter already connected and then have some toggle in system preferences to switch the display output from monitor to DisplayPort?
Hi all,
Just to let you know how a few things I found while attempting to instal Lion on my Inspiron 1525.
I have upgraded my HDD to 500Gb so I was getting the boot0:error at boot this can be easily sorted out (search for boot0 error dd if=boot1h on google you will find loads of tutorials).
My system of installation was to go for Nozycek's install. I was doing the autoinstaller but I found out that when it rebuilt the Kext Cache I got the 'still waiting for root device' error so now I install Nozycek's stuff manually and skip the rebuild kext cache.
After that I install the Wifi with the IO8211Family.kext provided here and reboot.
To get QE/CI I add arch=i386 to my org.chameleon.Boot.plist in the /Extra folder (see below)
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>arch=i386</string>
The only thing I cannot make work is the audio. I have tried the VoodooHDA provided here, Nozycek's AppleHDA and a few others I found around on the Net. Nothing seems to work. Any tips will be mostly appreciated.
Use instructions on this thread to fix KP with voodoohda.kext:
