Thread: Cannot Boot into Install Mode on HP EliteBook 8440p Please help

Hello fellows,

i'm sorry, i'm a lamo in this case

what i'm doing wrong?

My retail Lion app in my applications folder
Have successfully installed unibeast on 8GB stick ( 1 partition, MasterBoot formatted)
HDD inside my elitebook 8440p is already formatted with macos extended journaled

When i try to boot from stick without boot flags nothing happend, i see just apple logo
The same with boot flags -v -x PCIRootUID=0/1 GraphicsEnabler=No or with -v cpus=1 busratio=20/19
What i'm doing wrong here?

I think you can't use Unibeast for the 8440p, as that is a native OSX install.
On laptops with the HD 3000 graphics, it would work, but the 8440p has the NVS 3100m card.

Did you see the install guide for iATKOS L2 on 8440p under the Notebooks section?
I have it working without issues.
