Thread: Boot0 error on IAtkos L2 Lion.

Hi every one,
I'm very new to OSX , i just installed Lion 10.7.2 ( IAtkos L2) on my Sony laptop.
Every time Lion boots up, i got boot0 error. It boots fine if i have
IAtkos Lion DVD in the DVD drive.
How to correct the problem? Is there anyway to install boot loader
on HDD (with MBR partition.)
When i installed it on a fresh HDD with GUID partition it boots fine with no problem.
But i still want to keep Windows 7 on my laptop.
I had Windows 7 on partition 1 and Lion 10.7.2 on partition 2.

Try using Chamleon wizard app

you need to install a file called chain0 and use easybcd and set up your partitions boot menu

FOR DUAL BOOTING :
Actualy used Free version of EasyBCD too risky !! Use VisualBCD for more easyway download from here Visual BCD Editor - Windows 7/Vista then install on your windows 7. Open your iatkos macosx Installation disk with windows explorer you should found file name "chain0" copy it to your windows 7 root partition ( c:\ ). then make a new bootmenu with VisualBCD pointing to c:\ chain0 ... give a name for the boot manager example "macosx" then save

Note : u need windows 7 instalation disk for repair mbr if something wrong happen

BOOTMANAGER ON WINDOWS DOESNT SOLVE Boot0 error
Boot with your iatkos DVD instlaller then boot your macosx partition. In macosx desktop install the latest chamelon bootloader with your macosx partition as destination or use chameleon wizard, U can boot your windows 7 partition also with chameleon

use the lastest Camleon boot loader. download from atkos .copy to desktop after booting from DVD then run bootloader pkg "install'
that's what I did but I have iportable snow on a usb drive and it was easier.

YOU DON'T NEED TO DO ANYTHING,,,,just boot with the DVD, once on Desktop install Chimera (4 or above) and you'll boot normally next time. It happened to me many times.
