Thread: iAtkos l2 stuck at apple logo

i was able to successfully install iATKOS l2 on my HP laptop using this flag cpus=1, but after the installation is complete and i restart and i get the apple logo and the spinning wheel. however the sound is on and i can hear a song (probably where u create the profile) if u can help please reply

You should start up with some parameters like -x -v so that you can see if the laptop is working. Maybe OSX is busy and working.
I often had that with SL during my installation trials. After a long time all of a sudden it worked.

I have same problem, how do I start up with parameters ?

you need to access your iatkos l2 installed drive.(USE OLD IATKOS to access it or software like macdrive).

goto /System/Library/Extensions/

delete graphic kexts(NVIDIA ,AppleIntelHDGraphics,ATI)
delete all kext stats with these.

restart and boot from iatkosl2 installed drive.You are done!!!

i have a dell vostro a840, 3gb ram core to duo processor & Intel's graphic media accelerator
the installation stops atat the apple logo with spinning wheel.
is the hardware okay , or not. if yes what can i doto install it

I am noob. Please help me. How delete this kexts. In Terminal or....?

rm -rf AppleIntelHD*

is it ok to use iatkos v7, as you said to use older iatkos.also kalyway 10.5.2 worked very fine on my PC.

Same happens to me except I don't hear the music playing and after 5 minutes an X inside a little box appears on top of the apple logo
