Default IATKOS L2 Installation Successful - No Booting

    Hey guys,

After a long time of unsucessfully trying to install IATKOS L2 on my PC, I want to ask you for your help.

I managed to install IATKOS L2 using rboot LE as a bootloader (installation with the integrated Chameleon/Chimera bootloader or with separate iboot and iboot legacy DVDs did not work out) the follwing commands: UseKernelCachel=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No busratio=20

I tried to boot the various installations I tried out (used different patches and drivers), but when trying to boot from the HDD after the successful installation screen, I get the following message (mostly irrespectively from any additional commands like -x f- F -s -v):

Transcript Offline - Buffer Pool Allocate [181000] failed
    ...
    ...
    ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - wait ForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerMana gement) timed out
    DSMOS has arrived.

Here is a pic of the screen: http://www.pictureupload.de/original...C00527__1_.jpg

I tried to make a DSDT.aml file and copied it from a USB to the root of the mac os x partition by using the terminal in the installation mode. maybe I made a mistake there, I am rather a noob.

My BIOS is AptioSetup Utility which is quite limited in what you can change besides the boot settings. SATA was/is on AHCI. I tried to boot with different settings (Intel Virtualization Technology; Legacy USB Support) enabled or disabled, but no impact on the booting results.

    Here are my PC's Specs:
    ASUS X73SV
    i5-2430M, 2.4GHz
    DDR3 RAM 4GB
    HDD: 500GB (3 partitions)
    nvidia GEFORCE GT540M Cuda 1GB

I am close to give it up, so I am looking forward to every little hint.

    Thank you!

    Your Bus/Core ratio is 24 > Intel® Core

Seems to be a video issue...

    What`s your current boot loader???

Try booting with the flag`s below...

    Code:
    cpus=1 busratio=24 PciRoot=1 -f -v
If the flag`s does`t work, follow the steps of this post > http://www.osx86.net/10-7-lion/13453...html#post91873 and replace "Macintosh\ HD" for the name of your OS X partition...

    I don`t know about rBoot...

TonyMac`s iboot and iboot Legacy does`t work with Lion...

    Hello,

so by now I tried everything that you said, the HackBoot CD, with which even the new isntallation did not work out. I tried the modifications in the terminal after an installation done with rboot and IATKOS L2 based on the link you gave, but alos this didnt work out, it lead to the problem of no boot device when booting. Any other idea?

    Thanks!

Maybe Hackboot does`t work with your installation because you`re in the version 10.7.2...

And after you removed the video kexts you got and error due to no boot devices found???

    This is really weird....

Sorry, but I believe that you made something wrong when running the commands...

You can try to follow this thread and generate a bootable USB Stick > http://www.osx86.net/guides-tutorial...b-windows.html

    Hey,
i have nearly the same Laptop and the same issues.

So what worked for me was boot with iBoot Legacy -> install 10.6 Retail then i could boot into MacOS with the iboot cd (runs realy good for out of the box). But after i run Multibeast i got the stuck at "DSMOS has arrived." so maybe it has something to do with it. My next try is install 10.6 -> comboupdate to 10.6.8 and then the Lion update all without Multibeast..

A funny thing i have also 3 partitions so i hope this isnt the reason for our problem :P

differents to your hardware: i have 8GB Ram and my 540m has 2gigs ..
