    guys...

I tried to put the dmg image of itkos l2 onto a pendrive using transmac and used chameleon bootloader(which i mentioned earlier in this thread) to boot from the pendrive

    i used these

    -v -f

    and

    -v -x

    and

    -v -f Graphicsenabler=No arch=x86_64 ncpi=0x2000

and in all the 3 times some HFS+ files or something were shown to be loaded and the it came and got stuck on the following screen:
    IMG_9296.jpg

plz tell me what to do..

In a lot of laptops the problem isn't as cut and dried as these helpers may think. Take this one set I currently have for example. It came with Nvidia Optimus, which might be the culprit, but I can't say for sure. Anyway this is where I'm stuck at.

    Recall what this guy said.

    @abhiank209

Use -v -f or -v -x flags. Post your configuration.
See my picture above. USB keyboard attached.

    AHCI enabled?

    Check.

My problem? Pressing F8--or indeed, any key at all, gets me stuck on Chameleon screen. Just let bootloader countdown to 0 itself? The same problem. No F8 means no flags. No flags means no hope.

Now you're likely to tell me to burn another copy of iAtkos. You're wrong. I've successfully installed this disc on 5 different systems with different specs.

So anyone else have a better idea?

i tried a lotta thing ...and asked around a lot in this forum...no1's replying witha solution man...!!

i just gave up on the project ....WINDOWS 7 goes on....

and if you have read all the posts on this......and tried all that ,,,, that i tried then after booting thru chameleon ( i've given the link to which in this post ) then you gotta use the boot flag cpus=1.....

i tried that too but it still didnt work...though it got stuck at a different place.....try it nyways...it might just work

    Hey guys,

in order to not stuck on this f**** gray screen, use USB flash instead of DVD disk as it is known issue for iAtkos L2.
please check this thread for more information:
[Guide] Install Mac OS x Lion on Asus K53E [Laptop] - InsanelyMac Forum

you can also apply this method to any PC platform (up to installation phase)
    preparations are the same.
