Thread: Bug: launchctl.c:2408 problem while booting iATKOS L2 USB

Hey guys, I need help with this problem. I just can't seem to find anyway to get rid of this. I have tried PCEFI 10.6 with 10.7 boot files and also normal Cham 2.1 svn 1823 while booting from my USB thumbdrive with iATKOS L2 on it (not at the same time, the different methods still fail though). The same thing occurs with it on DVD as well.

This is the final 3 lines before the booting gets stuck and it got nowhere further.

using 64-bit bootcache playlist
BootCacheControl: Unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist: 2 No such file or directory
Bug: launchctl.c:2408 (24957):30: (dbfd = open(g_job_overrides_db_path,....

I have done all the proper settings to the BIOS already (ie: AHCI mode, ACPI sleep in S3 mode, SMART is on).

I'd be glad if anyone can get me out of this tight spot and get it to the installation menu at least. Thank you!

Asus A42JK
Intel i5-520M (first gen, of course) @ 2.4GHz (2.93 if turbo boost)
ATi Mobility Radeon HD 5145
WD Scorpio Blue 320GB (SATA2 mode and 5400rpm)
8GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066MHz
Slimtype DVD drive
BT-270 Bluetooth adapter
Atheros AR9285 wifi adapter
Realtek ALC269 sound card

just wait for like 10-15 min, i always get that line too but you have to wait

Okay I will give patience a try then.

I just waited for 30 minutes and no progress at all so I'm afraid waiting simply isn't the problem. Anyone has a remedy?

Hi, i had the same problem of you on iatkos l2... there is no solution.. sorry... i can give you infos about hoe did i installed it...

That is great news. Do you mind sharing how you did it successfully? Did you install by USB on a laptop as well?

Sure thing. Just one question, you installed iAtkos L2 or the retail Lion?

The retail one, but it works (i've installed iAtkos l2 on my brother's laptop ) also with iatjos l2
