try bootflags before launching the install, type -x -v cpus=1 (we never know) and if it hangs, post a photo, normally it should be good, and you'll reach install page, be patient, it take a little time to get there

    good luck

    Hello Andry,

Thanks for the reply... i understand it takes time and i really am patient

as you suggested i tried booting with the DVD with following flags -x -v cpus=1 and the output remains the same. here's the screenshot

    IMG-20120625-00088.jpg

i also tried installing IAtkos S3 V2 as well with same flags but it also keeps going in infinite reboot loop.

is it some sort of Kext which is causing cpu panic or something else or is my CPU not compatible ?.. i saw on HCL page few have been able to install L2 on i3 370M

    Hello Andry,

i tried installing with the flags mentioned in the link and it failed again with exactly same set of errors. i even tried with busratio=18 -v but to no avail.

my sony vaio model is VPCS133GN.

can it be the corrupt download ? or bad DVD write. although the checksum MD5 were same which i matched through the tool mentioned in the Torrent link.

Also I have tryed changing the kernel. With osx hard disc tools, I have restored iAtkos on a usb and added all osx.net kernels .... but same problem. Also thinking in use snow leo iatkos kernel ....

let we try to fix it little bit:
    1. Make sure you've burned your DVD with lower burning rate ...example 4x.

    2. Check your BIOS:
    SATA must be AHCI
Do you have optimus VGA Card ? if Yes...switched it to "Integrated"..... if NO, continue below:

    3. boot from your usb/dvd with bootflag " -v "..

    post here the result...
