Thread: iATKOS L2 stuck on Lion greyscreen after hit F8

hi guys, this is my first installation of hackintosh.. i doesn't have any macintosh things (except iPad). So i dont realy understand about 'bootflag' etc..

anyway, my problem is when i boot from iATKOS L2 DVD.. then the grey screen with "iATKOS L" and Lion face suddenly appear, then the countdown bar and "blablabla press F8" appeared either. So, i press 'f8' and then the countdown bar stuck.. and nothing happens.

There's nothing wrong with my bios i guess (already enable the AHCI thing and anything depends on the tutorial),,

Just press "Enter" (Return) after press "F8" or let the countdown finish...

Try burning rBoot to a dvd, then boot up the PC with rboot, once you are inside and can see the drive options to boot from, remove rBoot and replace with your installation DVD. Then give the disc a minute to load, then press F5. Once the installation disc has loaded onto the rBoot screen, arrow across to it and type cpus=1 busratio=20 -x -v then press enter (to boot into the dvd) I had this probem last night and this is how it was solved for me. With the mindful guidance of Kyndder there!

i think my iAtkos_L2 is corrupt or i dont know.. anyway i'll try with Lion retail DVD from my friend thanks all. Im very appreciate it
