Thread: Issues with iAtkos L2 on a Sony Vaio PCG-5G3L

I have recently installed iAtkos L2 on my Sony Vaio PCG-5G3L with everything mostly working except for the wifi, the ethernet, the webcam and the (possibly and very probably non existant) bluetooth. Also the graphical effects tend to be slightly buggy which is slightly irritating. I did some Google searches on the wifi card regarding OSX86 kexts and found no relevant results. If the wifi card won't work then I would like to get a wifi dongle that is compatible with Lion.

UPDATE: I have now determined that quartz seems to only partially work.


UPDATE 2: My laptop's battery gets drained much more quickly than Linux and Windows while running OSX.

These problems are really getting annoying. I would like some solutions.

What I have working:
Wifi (with dongle)
Bluetooth (with dongle)
Sound (voodoohda)
Keyboard
Mouse
Basic Mac functions

What I don't have working
Quartz
