    Default Install issue mountain lion


    Hi , I am trying to install mountain lion via myhack, I got it all on my USB stick, it loads to apple logo then screen goes black, any ideas??

    Pc is i5 2500k, p67 mobo, ati 58xx

    Please help

    First try in Safe Mode ( -x ), if don`t work, remove all ATI video kexts from your myHack USB Stick and try again...

    How do I remove kexts from my hack ,

    As well do I enter the -x when choosing from the boot loader ??

    Go to /myHack/System/Library/Extensions and delete the kexts...

    Write -x then press ENTER...

    Removed ati kexts, now sits at loading screen and wheel just spins, does nothing else

    Try using the flags -f -v ...

    This way we may know on what spot is freezing...

    Use again -f -v and when it freezes, take a picture of the entire screen and place here...

    You need also to remove the video kexts from your installed system...

    To do that, follow this post > http://www.osx86.net/10-7-lion/13453...html#post91873

    But before you run those commands, run the command below to backup the original kexts...

    Code:
    cp -R /Volumes/Macintosh\ HD/System/Library/Extensions /Volumes/Macintosh\ HD/System/Library/Extensions.backup
    Also, don`t forget to replace "Macintosh\ HD" for the name of your OS X partition...
