Hello, I am trying for days to boot into Mountain Lion, I probably reinstalled it god know how many times with different things... but it's the same every time...
Right now, when I try to boot it hangs and says that I need to restart.
When I booted verbosely, I saw that it hangs here.
I installed using this guide.
My Bootloader is Chameleon-2.1svn-r2030
I am trying to install on Acer Aspire 5738G with the following specs:
4GB RAM DDR3 | 500GB HDD Space
Intel Core2Duo T6600 @ 2x2.20GHz
nVidia GeForce G105M 512MB with CUDA (works fine with NVEnabler)
Atheros AR9280 (WLAN, OOB)
I tried a lot of different boot flags, like '-v', '-f', '-F', '-npci=0x2000', 'PCIRootUID=0/1', etc, but nothing worked.
And yes, I tried safe boot, it boots (sometime boots, sometimes it doesn't - go figure...) but it doesn't fix anything.
Tried with different NullCPUPowerManagement and FakeSMC kexts, also tried fresh install and recreated my usb installation with the Extras folder of my working Lion, but that didn't worked too...
Mountain Lion is apperantly a stubborn cat... so, can somebody help me tame it?![]()
Do you have any suggestions on what could it be, do you need to know anything else for my system? Just ask!
Just for info: My previous working SL and L were all distros, not vanilla installs like this one, I just wanted to point that out :-)
Thanks in advance!
