Thread: Multi Boot 10.7.2 & 10.8 & Win7

Very new to this so please be gentle,

Running HP XW6400 Dual Intel Xeon 5160 3.00Ghz, ATI6870 - LION 10.7.2 - boot loader Chimera 1.11.0.

Managed to get both Lion and ML running but could only boot into ML with unibeast usb. Anyway managed to totally screw up the ML install trying to get it to run from boot loader,, so starting from scratch with ML install.

Advice please on below request..

First disc with LIon 10.7.2
Second disc with WIN7

I am going to reinstall 10.8 ML to first disc separate partition, (this works as already completed install first time round) but want a decent boot loader that will show or give option for
10.7 , 10.8 & Win7.

OK ML installed and running, however when boot using Chimera 1.11 in verbose load hangs at following see attachment.

Errors - Something about ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin. Then network timeouts.

However if I boot with Unibeast USB .. Straight in no errors..

Ideas please ????

For experiment try with other HDD, install ML stand alone without other OS, single boot!

Ive looked all over and your the only person I've seen talking about this mother board! I need a little help please.
I have a, HP XW6400 DUAL XEON E5335 Quad 2Ghz with ATI Radeon HD 4870 1GB,
I want to install lion 10.7.x do you have a mini guide for this mobo.

I can get it to boot on USB with IATKOS L2 but not with MultiBeast - Lion 4.6.1

Google Chameleon smbios with 10.8 support and get it... its from osx86.net. Boot using the USB and get it installed. The installer for that boot loader is a easy to use pkg
