    Default Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 - No boot

    Hi,

    I've just put together my new build with what I thought were 100% compatible parts but I can't boot with the graphics card in.

    The main bits are:

    i5 3570k
    Gigabyte ga-z77x-ud5h - latest bios
    Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 Windforce 2X NVIDIA Graphics Card - 2GB
    8gb ram

    I can boot, install, run mountain lion fine with the hd4000 graphics but as soon as the gtx660 gets involved nothing works.

    I tried various boot flags and the nvidia drivers for mac but nothing helped.

    Should I just send it back and get something others have reported works 100% ?

    Any advice would be great, thanks.

    Are you booting with:
    GraphicsEnabler=No -v
    ?

    Yea I tried that, no luck. I spent a lot of time looking through that thread before I bought my parts, except for getting a plain 660 instead of the ti version.

    The GTX660 has a GK106 GPU (not supported). And you don't know for sure if it will be supported in the future? You can wait or return it. At this moment all GT/GTX6XX are working, only yours not AFAIK.
    But which one to choose GTX650 or GTX660ti? And before buying/returning search first for a success story
