    Exclamation Help with Samsung Q430

    Hey everyone. Heres my specs for Samsung NP-Q430-JU01US

    Intel i5 460M
    I believe I have BA92-06772A motherboard
    4GB DDR3
    NVIDIA GeForce 310M

    I am trying to install iAtkos ML2 on my laptop but i have no luck.

    when i try to boot into installer it freezes at:
    5.447463: start[1012] sc->sc_lnuse_cnt is at offset 203c, sizeof (_sc->sc_ic) is 25f0
    Still waiting for root devices

    I tried -v -f -F -x and so on...but still getting the same error.

    Thank You

    Okay, if you look up my specs, you see my Lenovo G650 is very similar to your Samsung laptop.
    IAtkos L2 ( Osx Lion 10.7.2 ) works best for me.
    IAtkos ML2 ( Osx Mountain Lion 10.8.2 ) is possilble to install, but less stable in case of extra kext installations.
    So try 10.7.2 version first. Retail installation will not work most of the time. Very complicated.

    Load by torrent ( give me email if you need torrent )
    - after download transform file onto USB stick. use disk utility.
    - first boot -> boot flags: -v npci=0x2000 or -v npci=0x3000 also try -v -x npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes / No
    also UsbBusFix=No / Yes
    - see if BIOS settings are right ( SATA to AHCI , power S3 mode , optimized default settings , HPET=64-bit ... )
    - install with first boot like -v npci=0x3000 - do not select kexts for devices you do not have to prevent reboot problems.
    - reboot with -v npci=0x3000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes
    - set user settings, install missing devices by MultiBeast from tonymacx86.com
    - have fun.

    I am sure your laptop is compatible, I had a Samsung core i3-xxx and I got it work as well using IAtkos L2, only LAN card did not work. But the Atheros WLAN was supported.

    please report success / problems. If you got problems, please give us your exact devices and specs like Chipset, LAN cards..

    Good night.
    Laptop:
    IATKOS L2 10.7.5 Lenovo G560 i3-350m nVidia GT218 [GeForce 310m]
    Intel 5 Series/3400 Chipset, 82801 PCI Bridge, LAN: RTL80101E, Wlan: Broadcom BCM43225

    PCs IAtkos L2 & IAtkos ML 2 10.8.2
    10.7.5 & 10.8.2 GA-P67X-UD3-B3 i7-2600 or i5-2400 GTX 650 Ti or GT 9600
    10.8.2 GA-H77-D3H and GA-Z77X-D3H also ASUS P8Z77-M GTX650, GTX 650ti, GTX660
    (GTX660 has same Cinebech as GTX650ti - do not waste money)
