Thread: Can I run a Phenom II X4 B55?

Hi,

I have an AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition with the 2 hidden cores unlocked which results in a Phenom II X4 B55. My question is, would I be able to run Mac OSX with the hidden cores unlocked?

I am unsure if passing cpus= at boot would do it or not. I take it your bios allows it now.
