The HD4200 mGPU should work with Chameleon RC5 v747.
The AthlonII should be fine, just follow the guide.

Biostar GF8100, HD5450, 10.6.8
ASRock Conroe, GT8800, 10.8.3
Lenovo T60, GMA945, 10.6.7
which version of snow leopard will i need, can i use snow leopard 10.6.7
After installing 10.6.3 from a retail DVD you can choose to update to as much as 10.6.8, as far as I know.
Please be sure to install the suitable Legacy Kernel for each OS version.
The mGPU may or may not be fully suported with 10.6.3. If you only get 1024x768 pixel, you can fix that later.
Read the guide another time and take your chances.
Some people report crashing apps from higher SL releases. I did not suffer from such problems, but your mileage may vary.
Best of luck - and let us know how things worked out for you!

can you boot from usb of mac os x or do u need the cd when installing mac os x
and should it be a iso, dmg or just the files inside these formats
The guide indicates booting with nawcom´s ModCD.
There may be other ways, e.g. netbookinstaller, but I would recommend something proven working.
Usually it is possible to "restore" a CD´s contens to a thumb drive with a Mac,
but I´m afraid you will be on your own with such an undertaking.
And NO, you wont be able to boot from a ISO image on a thumbdrive,
simply because your BIOS does not know what ISO is.
