Thread: Is anybody got Sleep working yet ?

I been searching for a long time to get sleep work on 10.6.8 but have no success yet . If I install SleepEnabler, the computer will sleep but it will freeze after wake up, only the cursor still moving. Without SleepEnabler, the system will not wake and I have to hold the power button to turn it off.
HP Pavilion a4327, AMD Athlon II 240 Dual Core, 4GB ram,nForce network controller,AMD Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3.

my pentium 4 ht works with sleep kernel from kalyways leopard 1.5.2

I think it has to do with Chameleon and sleepenabler combination. When I had 10.5~10.6.3 I would never get a sleep work, then I updated to 10.6.7 with latest Chameleon of its time and used sleepenabler 10.6.7 and had my bios S3, SLEEP WORKS!

My system is AMD X4 955/ASUS M4A78T-E/HD5770

Could be BIOS setting, too. Check your setting.

I have a OEM PC so there is not much choice I can do in the BIOS
