    Default ALC892 - GA-880GMA-UD2H - Audio Noise

    Hello friends,

After three days finally installed Snow Leopard. (10.6.3)

CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition
    Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H
    Memory: 4gb DDR3

Graphics ok, Network card ok...but sound not... =x

I've tried all versions of VoodooHDA.kext and all versions of the new MultiBeast 3.8, include the ALC8xxHDA + AppleHDA Rollback + System Utilities solutions and a lot of the others things on the internet...

Sometimes The voodoo control panel seems to works fine, and the in/out seems to be ok...but not without noise, never.

After installing my ALC892 SOUNDS, although accompanied with a lot of "zzzz"-noise when audio is plugged.

    ZZZZZZZZZU~UUUUU ~ZZUHMMMZZZ
(only in the snowleo, but w7 my sound works fine)

After these days...I'M VERY TIRED... ;/

I found one guy with the same problem in this forum But...Jul/10:
Realtek ALC892.....VoodooHDA & AppleHDA & LegacyHDA not work! - InsanelyMac Forum

    Can someone help?

On 10.6.3 you can try this > VoodooHDA adapted to ALC892 - Downloads - Kexts.com

But if you update to 10.6.6 / 7 or 8, maybe have more things...

Try this flag at boot > npci=0×2000 (read here if you don't know how to use http://www.kexts.com/guides-tutorial...er-basics.html)

Or this > http://www.kexts.com/view/1417-apple...pcifamily.html and follow the instructions on this post > http://www.kexts.com/motherboard-cpu...html#post73599

Yes (yesterday with the terminal cp -r from USB to Extensions) (yourGUIDE)

For now, i'm using 2 partitions..."diskOsx1" with the original instalation of 10.6.3 without modification, and other, "diskOsx2" (same copy) but to send instalations from diskOsx1(logged).

Today I used KextWizard...and boot with -f...and sometimes repairing permissions and rebuilding caches... but update not work.

I did try npci=0x2000 on boot and nothing change.
