Thread: Realtek HD Audio HELPPP PLEASE!

Hey guys! Looking for a much desired answer here... Finally got most of my OSX86 machine up and running. My last step is completely stumping me in the process...

I have a Realtek Audio in my Acer Aspire. I got to Device Mnger>Sound,video, device>Realtek HD Audio, Realtek HD Audio for HDMI.

Im running snow leo 10.5.6 and No damn luck with getting any sound to work. I installed VoodooHDA and nothing. Did everything correctly. VooDoo HDA does not work apprently on my machine.

Can ANYONE (i beg ) help me get my audio working? I'd appreciate your help so much! Thanks guys

Which version of VoodooHDA.kext doesn't work? Which versions have you tried?

Honestly I'm not sure. I've tried two. Couldn't tell ya which ones they were though. Wasnt very familiar with "versions". I just kinda googled VooDoo HDA and downloaded. What would you reccommend? btw thanks for the reply.
