Thread: 82801H (ICH8 Family) 8086:284b - Hardware found, no sound

Hi,

I have installed Mac OSX Lion 10.7.3 on my Acer Aspire 7720, which has a (8086:284b) 82801H sound card. Everything works like a charm for my laptop, except the sound.
I tried deleting the AppleHDA.kext, and adding VoodooHDA.kext.
It has found my hardware now, and it even recognizes when I plugin my headset into the SPDIF-out.
But I still don't have any sound.. My iTunes won't play any music.

I searched for a solution for lot's of days already, but can't make this one work.
How can I get the sound on this Hackintosh? Any help would be appreciated!
