Thread: Show your workplace (2nd edition)

You all got some nice workplaces out there, here’s my workplace / studio setup.





Here we have:
Mac Pro 1.1 – 2 Dual-Core Intel Xeon 2.66GHz, 4GB RAM, 250GB HDD, OSX 10.6
PC / Hackintosh – AMD 64 X2 2.0Ghz, 4GB RAM, ~1.5TB HDD’s, GeForce 8800 GTS, Windows XP, OSX 10.6 (having issues, hardware looks to be unsupported)
2 – 24” Dell 2405WFP LCD monitors, 2 – 17” HP f1703 LCD monitors (one out of frame for mixer GUI)
Audio: AIVD Pro Tools 8 HD II Accel, 192I/O Interface, Mackie D8B recording console/mixer, Mackie HR824 monitors/speakers, Mackie ONYX 800R, Samson patch bay, Alesis Multimix 16 mixer, PreSonus Faderport.
And lastly my 1939 Western Electric model 302 metal-body rotary telephone connected via Xlink Bluetooth cellular gateway, works well!

This is my studio-equipped workplace in my bedroom, in Holland. I did a rebuild of the desk recently, it was a corner setup first, but now it's possible for two persons to sit behind the desk, when mixing or reviewing a song. And I like it a lot since !

This desk helps me make music, but also do all other paperwork, sometimes watching a movie/docu, and a lot of listening to music. If you want to know any specs, or if you want to hear songs I'm making, just ask me if you're interested! I hope you like it
