Thread: xPC Shuttle SH67H3 is a Barebones PC

XPC Shuttle SH67H3 is a barebones pc with the intel H67 Chipset
All this for under 350 pounds

cpu is the core i5 2500k
nvidia gt 9800
lan
usb all working fine

installed 10.6.0 with iboot then use multibeast then easy beast to set it up
one hard drive 10.6.8
second hard drive win7

two things that are not working
usb 3
and shutdown just keeps restarting
any help on this plz

now just installed cs5 and it all works a dream
no panic at this time (oh this my help no rollback usb needed)
any more i will post and any comments too
tommorow i will try my GTX 550 TI i will get back

ok with the shuttle
without a pci gracphic card the on borad gracphic is the intel HD3000
the same as the mac mini and the mac book pro
still no way to get the usb 3 to work trying now some more kext for the shutdown
restart problem
will get back later

Right where do i begin

Lion insall
XPC Shuttle in my opinion is just right for 10.6.8 and Lion 10.7.2
why do i say that well 10.6.0 installed with iboot and multi beast then use easy install
all will load from the hard drive sound works lan works nvidia GT9800 works usb works without the need of the rollback kext
then download the 10 .6.8 update combo and then download update helper and install then install 10.6.8 upadate
do not restart run multi beast same install as last time then reboot and 10.6.8 will load
then installed Lion with the help of a great post by regae found in this forum insanelymac.com
Lion Installation via DVD without any BootCD

it worked fine for me Lion 10.7.2 works great
my spec now are
intel i5 25000k
win 7 on second HD
Lion on First HD
Lan works
sound works
Usb works
now for my GTX 550TI Nvidia works fine all works
But no usb 3 kexts out there for this so far
and will not shutdown but restarts looking for a way to fix this

search for the as 3.0 media firmware patch under windows. If patched, the usb 3.0 ports work ok
