Thread: Please help with SL on AMD Quad PC

Hi

Ive followed the guide on the site and booted using the ModCD thing. I keep getting this error after i "press any key to continue"



My PC is as follows....

AMD Athlon II X4 630 @ 2.8
Socket AM3 (938)
SSE 1, 2, 3 4A
Chipset = nForce 720a
BIOS = AMI
4GB DDR3
1TB HD
Nvidia GeForce 9200 @ 256mb

Please help!

What is the error? Maybe the ModCD is bad you need to create a new one. Mine I use BootCD and use Hazard 10.6.1-10.6.2 Intel/AMD Distro and was able to install SL on my pc...you can check my post http://www.osx86.net/desktops/9746-g...tml#post115392

In some cases USB Legacy Supports prevents installation.
You might try to disable it in BIOS.
0.3.1 or 0.3.2 Mod CD should boot AMD boxes with 4GB RAM or less.
