Thread: [GUIDE] OS X 10.6 on AMD

I have gotten everything working properly except for my graphics. I have an integrated ATI HD 3200. I have tried a couple kexts I found online for it, but nothing is working. Also in hardware info it is being wrongly identified as an HD 4890. Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: I forgot to mention that I am currently running 10.6.8.

My specs:
AMD Phenom 9850 BE
ASUS M3A78PRO
ATI RADEON HD 3200
4GB G-Skill DDR2-800

hey guys. have anybody had experience install snow leopard on Hp Pavilion dv6 with AMD llano fusion APu. My graphics card is ATI radeon 6620G and my CPU is amd A8-3500M. any help would be appreciated.

Hey everybody,

I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 on my HP Pavilion. Everything is working great except for the graphics card. My resolution is currently 1024 x 768. I have looked around for kexts but I have found nothing and everything is so maximied currently.

Is there any solution to getting a good resolution for my ATI Radeon 4200? I have literally searched up so many times on Google yet I still haven't found a proper kext. Also I am running Legacy's Kernel for my boot manager?

Please I would be really grateful if someone could help. Thank you very much.
