ASUS P5GC-MX/1333 WORKS 100% PACKAGE Size: 3.18 MB
DSDT created with DSDT Auto Patcher for ASUS P5GC-MX/1333, which is still great motherboard for Hackintosh!

- = PACKAGE DESIGNED FOR MAC OS X 10.7.1 LION !!! = -

BIOS settings :
- Onboard IDE Operate Mode : Enhanced Mode
- Suspend Mode : S3 only
- USB Function : Enabled. Legacy USB Support : Disabled ( which makes wake up from sleep working). USB 2.0 Controller : Enabled.

Key Features :
- DSDT created for 4 GB RAM (2 x 2 GB)
- SMBIOS with MacPro3,1 data (Mac Pro Early 2008).
- CPU temperatures works 100% (NullCPUPowerManagement.kext + FakeSMC plugins) - tested with iStat Pro.
- LAN works with /Extra/Extensions/AtherosL2Ethernet.kext.
- Audio runs with three kexts perfectly (no crappy VoodooHDA!).
- Sleep works (DSDT patched + SleepEnabler.kext for Lion 10.7.1 - if You are running Snow Leopard then use pmVersion=0 and change SleepEnabler.kext).
- My very own GeForce 8600 GT 256 MB added with EFI String in org.chameleon.Boot.plist. Delete it Your external graphics card is different (i don't have time and patience to run shitty GMA950).

Bonus things :
- Included Chimera 1.5.4 (which works like a charm with FaceTime in Lion) and Lion-Compatible Kext Utility for repairing permissions.
- BootCamp Chimera Theme
- Full X86_64 architecture in org.chameleon.Boot.plist.

Feel free to edit this package for your hardware - think about it as a base package ;-)!

Hi, please..... what CPU you using for Lion? I have this motherboard, and have a few troubles with Snow 10.6 on Pentium 4 (2.66Ghz overlocked to 3.1Ghz).... When I boot from Empire EFI, audio is working fine (network not of course... there isn't kext for AtherosL2).... but, when I instaled your pack (without DSDT, after with DSDT), audio is not workin', but network is workin' ..... System boot is very lazy, and I must waiting about 10 minutes on desktop then I start work....

Sorry for spam, but I need some help... Thanx

Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 2 x 2,0 GHz. In Empire EFI there's a VoodooHDA, which works but is a bit crappy for me (crackling sound, input gain on 90 which makes noise). AppleHDA + HDAenabler in /S/L/E and ALC662.kext in /E/E works good for me in 10.7.1 - all input and output works, audio is visible in system report as "built in".

10 minutes? Aw gawd! My boot takes about 20 seconds (including loading Darwinx86 by Chameleon). Does Your permissions are repaired with Kext Utility (included)?

I need some help.
Trying to install Lion 10.7.1 (and then update it to 10.7.2) on my P5GC/MX1333, but I cannot get my ethernet card (onboard) to work. I had no problem in 10.6.8 but now the AtherosL2 driver is not working. Maybe I am not applying the DSDT package properly... can you help me?
Thanks

Update on my problem.
I have installed iAtkos L1 and the only way to get my ethernet card to work is to without Graphics Enabler or any VGA selection. The I can install the AtherosL2Ethernet kext and have ethernet working.
When I install the DSDT for my P5GC/MX1333 video is not working (I have a GeForce 9800 GT). I have remove the EFI string. Still no luck.
The only way to have my video card is to have GraphicsEnabler to YES but then my ethernet is gone.
I cannot have both...

Your advice would be appreciated.

Motherboard: P5GC-MX/1333
Memory: 4GB (2X 2GB)
CPU: E8400 3.0Ghz (running 2.4Ghz)
Sound: onboard
Lan: onboard
Video: evga GeForce 9800 GT 512mb

@matka123 : you can find in this Downloads section, search for keywords, Attansic L2 there are post which is has 32 bit version only, also both version, but i like 32 bit version because it makes loading faster.

@Maxavelli : thanks for your sharing, anyway your mb is just the same with me, did you manage to make it work with HDMI audio ? thank you

Audio not running for me apparently asus p5gc has alc883 , but until now i still can not use another than voodoohda, your dsdt also not working for me, it make me stuck on PCI Configuration begin.

I didn't test HDMI Audio - I don't need this feature actually.

ariksaja - try to add kernel string "npci=0x2000" in /Library/ Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist - since 10.7.2 this string in /Extra/org.chameleon.boot.plist doesn't work for me.

You also can move all kext's from /Extra/Extensions to /System/Library/Extensions, select "Use kernel cache" in great tool Chameleon Wizard (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...owtopic=257464), delete *.mkext and rebuild caches with Kext Utility - that improves boot up speed!

I also noticed that people who doesn't have 8600 GT Card and need to delete EFI string from plist file have problems with Mac App Store - here's the EFI String just for the Ethernet Card : 4b00000001000000010000003f0000000100000002010c00d0 41030a0000000001010600011c0101060000007fff04001600 00006200750069006c0074002d0069006e0000000500000001

And after any system update remember to overwrite AppleHDA.kext with the one from my package to get sound.

Regards :-)!

edit:
udate the system from 10.6.2 to 10.6.8 and sound works also.....but.....if i try to install my graphics after reboot i get simply blue screen and nothing else.
I m working with 1600x900 res in my e2040s lg.
Also i discover that sleep enable sucks my system(no prob about that power on all time ).
Any advise?
