Got the kernel working on a asrock nf6g-dvi with à 3600+.
Used Applenforceata.kext for the sata nforce430 chipset.
Video is still à bit buggy with the geforce6100 onboard, but i got à good screen.
These flags are necessary :
-legacy npci=0x3000 UseKernelCache=No GraphicsEnabler=Yes
Optional "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32@85" also works.
The DP2 Finder.app works but i also have issues with "you don't have permission" and "show info".
Other languages can work in the DP2 Finder app, just move the right language from the original Finder app to the DP2 one and repair permissions.
You can put the Finder app in coreservice directory. But in the program directory is fine too, it seems to work the same (when you want to swap between an AMD and intel computer you can always use THE original on THE Intel). Don't forget to put the DP2 one next to THE original one. |

Adler, Indeed i'm aware that the gf6100 is not supported. I read it all over the net.
Though i have a working screen also QE extreme seems to be working. Strange isn't it. Though opengl stays black in xbench and also youtoube isn't working.
Did a test with the DP2 finder.app on an intel system. Here the problem with "you don't have permission" doesn't occur. Seems to be a specific AMD or 32 bit problem, i think. |
