  1. File Name: TL-WN725N_v2_USB_MacOS10.8

The TP-Link TL-WN723N USB WiFi has 3 versions:
V1 - using the realtek chip RTL8188SU (source)
V2 - using the realtek chip RTL8188CUS (source)
V3 - using the realtek chip RTL8188EUS (source)

This package was uploaded specifically for V3.
To check your version, check the inscription on the silver contacts of the usb wifi itself.
Should appear as FCC ID: TE7WN723NV3

Took me a day and several attempts before I stumbled onto this package.
    This package includes:
    Separate Wireless Network Utility app
    RTL8188EU kext (for TL-WN723N-V3 and TL-WN725N-V2)
    RTL8192SU / RTL8192CU kexts (I seriously don't know why these are present)

NOTE: This package is really for TL-WN725N-V2 but works for the TL-WN723N-V3 too (since both use the same kext)
PS: Since I had a tough day getting my TL-WN723N-V3 to work, i thought i'd upload this separately to save your time.

    Summary:

    This package will...
    Work for:

TL-WN723N-V3 (has the required RTL8188EU kext)
TL-WN725N-V2 (has the required RTL8188EU kext)

    NOT work for:

    TL-WN723N-V1 (missing RTL8188SU kext)
TL-WN723N-V2 (missing RTL8188CUS kext) (NOTE: user AbdullahAlT3mimy, in his comments, mentioned that it worked for him)

if nothing works then try your luck here: official realtek driver download link

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Extract

    2. Install (next-next-next-next)

    3. Restart

    4. Plug-in the USB wifi and the Wireless Network Utility should automatically appear
    5. Under Link Status, ensure the bottom right button reads "Radio Button Off"

    6. Go to "Available Networks" tab and connect to the required wifi network

(if the SSID is hidden, it will still appear but as a nameless network.

Use common sense and your wireless networking experience/knowledge to guide yourself from here)

  2. This KEXT enables most Broadcom 4300 series wireless adapters to work as Airport. I have used this on a couple different setups.

    Installation involves several easy steps.
    1. Place the file Broadcom43XXFamily.kext into your /Extra/Extensions folder (see below if you do not have an /Extra/Extensions/ folder)
    2. This driver has dependencies on the IONetworkingFamily. This means you need to install that .kext as well. Go to /System/Library/Extensions/ and find IONetworkingFamily.kext and copy (using copy and paste) it to the desktop. (You cannot usually paste directly to the /Extra/Extensions/ folder due to permissions blocking that action.
    3. Drag the IONetworkingFamily.kext from your desktop to /Extra/Extensions/.
    4. Restart. Your card should be automatically detected.

If there is no /Extra/Extensions, just a file called Extensions.mkext, you will need to first create a folder called Extensions in Extra, then open and extract the contents of Extensions.mkext and place the contents into Extra/Extensions. Then remove Extensions.mkext (don't delete it, just move it to the desktop, you may need it later)

(Optional) If you desire, you can also place the Broadcom43XXFamily.kext into your /System/Library/Extensions, but I have not found this to be any more reliable or stable than just locating it in the /Extra/Extensions folder, and there is always the potential for a conflict if you modify your system. Add the file by dragging it onto KextHelper.

The following Chipsets should be supported

    BCM 4306
    BCM 4309
    BCM 4311 (Natively Supported)
    BCM 4315
    BCM 4318
    BCM 4320
    BCM 4321
    BCM 4322
    BCM 4323
    BCM 4323x Family
    BCM 4324
    BCM 4325
    BCM 4326
    BCM 4328
    BCM 4329
    BCM 4342

The following card models should be supported

    Belkin F5D7000
    Buffalo WL12-PCI-G545
    Linksys PCMCIA Card WPC54G
    Dynex DX-BNBC
    Dynex DX-BGDTC
    Netgear WN311B (v1 & 2)

Probably tons of other cards, as long as they have a supported chipset...

I take no special credit for this KEXT. Even though I have written this KEXT and made this available to the community, this hack can be done by anyone with a text editor and a little know how. My goal here is to make a KEXT available to the community that can be installed and will work on as many Broadcom chipsets as possible, and to do it in a Vanilla friendly way.

Added experimental rev2 kext which might add support for more cards. Still, if your card is not on the list or has a chipset not on the above list, don't be surprised if it doesn't work. If it does work, please post your Brand, model number, version number, and chipset.

  5. I updated this injector to work with 10.8.x
With this injector, you no longer have to patch/touch/hack the original IO80211Family.kext (specifically, the plugin AirPortAtheros40.kext) every time there's a system update.

    Tested with AR5B95 (pci168c,2b)

Just install this kext using your favourite Kext installer into /System/Library/Extensions

  7. Hello,

This is a Package for Atheros AR5B195 which contains AR9285 Wifi with PID:168c,2b and Bluetooth AR3011 with the PID:3304

    WIFI:
If you have different PID for your Wifi Chip then edit the info.plist file inside the Atheros kext with your's.

    BLUETOOTH:
The Bluetooth Enabler Kext can work with other PID's, for this have to edit the info.plist file inside the kext with your's pid and vid. Convert the hex values of pid & vid to decimal and enter these values in the info.plist file.

What it does is just uploads the firmware so It can be operated by the operating system drivers of Apple which doesn't upload firmware.

Tested in 10.7.3 Only. But it can work for other versions too, if you find its not working then let me know I will try to fix it

UPDATE: Had some problems with Fn+F2 switch before but this update fixes almost just a small bug only appears during restart where BT is not enabled but can be enabled/Disabled manually using Fn+F2 with this update.

UPDATE2: Now its been updated to remove the errors and failing to enable the BT on restarts, however it will show the KIOErrors only during first system start it happens becoz this upload won't load before the probe from OS. But its better than before error since it won't upload every time the firmware (Only uploads during first system start only) unlike before.

For Turning on and off bluetooth, use hardware keys Fn+F2 in Asus Notebooks (Press Twice to toggle Bluetooth)

credit goes to mac4mat from {censored} for the Bluetooth Kext

Update#3: Changed the Title to include the Wifi which comes together with this Bluetooth and also included the latest kext for Wifi along with updated and recompiled Bluetooth kext.

Update#4 : Updated and Fixed Kexts for Both Lion and Mountain Lion,

Locale and country fix you can edit info.plist in the DeviceMergeNub.kext.
Or you use DSDT Code, with your Native IO80211Family.kext,good for OSX Install!
    Device (ARPT) { Name (_ADR, Zero) // _ADR: Address Name (_PRW, Package (0x02) // _PRW: Power Resources for Wake { 0x09, 0x04 }) Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) // _DSM: Device-Specific Method { Store (Package (0x0E) { "name", "pci168c,30", "device-id", Unicode ("0"), "IOName", "pci168c,30", "revision-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, "subsystem-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x9F, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, "subsystem-vendor-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x6B, 0x10, 0x00, 0x00 }, "vendor-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x8C, 0x16, 0x00, 0x00 } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } }
Or you add this to FakeSMC info.plist.
    <key>Atheros Wireless LAN PCI</key> <dict> <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key> <string>com.apple.driver.AirPort.Atheros40</string> <key>IOClass</key> <string>AirPort_AtherosNewma40</string> <key>IOMatchCategory</key> <string>IODefaultMatchCategory</string> <key>IONameMatch</key> <array> <string>pci168c,2e</string> </array> <key>IOProbeScore</key> <integer>700</integer> <key>IOProviderClass</key> <string>IOPCIDevice</string> </dict>

  15. Latest Mountain Lion kext modified to support Atheros AR5B95-H (Atheros 9285 it seems to be known as, as well) (That's the exact card I use, could support others).

    Works perfectly. Airdrop supported natively.

Pci id added was vendor 168c - device 303f. You can do this yourself by editing the Airportatheros40.kext in the plugins directory of your io80211family.kext. Add that in the info.plist and you're golden if this works for you (for future reference).

    Anyways, enjoy guys!

Open source driver for the Realtek RTL8111/8168 family.
    New Driver for Realtek RTL8111
Anybody who is looking for a add-on network card with Realtek NIC might want to consider the Delock 89357. This card is equipped with a RTL8111E-VL (chipset 16) which is known to work perfectly with my driver because this chipset is my primary test device.
    Key Features of the Driver
Supports Realtek RTL8111/8168 B/C/D/E/F/G found on recent boards.
Support for multisegment packets relieving the network stack of unnecessary copy operations when assembling packets for transmission.
No-copy receive and transmit. Only small packets are copied on reception because creating a copy is more efficient than allocating a new buffer.
TCP, UDP and IPv4 checksum offload (receive and transmit).
    TCP segmentation offload under IPv4.
Support for TCP/IPv6 and UDP/IPv6 checksum offload.
Fully optimized for Mountain Lion (64bit architecture) but should work with Lion too. As of now there is no support for Snow Leopard but it can be added if someone will create the necessary patches.
    Supports Wake on LAN.
Support for Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) which can be disabled by setting enableEEE to NO in the drivers Info.plist without rebuild. The default is YES.
The driver is published under GPLv2.

    Limitations
As checksum offload doesn't work with jumbo frames they are currently unsupported and will definitely never be.
    No support for 32bit kernels.

  25. Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet

This driver is for these devices with fix against stoping under an intense traffic
It work with Snow Leopard(x32,x34-thanks rals2007 for compilation), Lion(x64), and Mountain Lion(x64) andMavericks(x64). Works in x32 and x64 mode as well.
The version 2.3.5 is only suitable for 64bit systems. If you need 32bit driver on lion. try the kext for Snow Leopard.
