  3. Latest Mountain Lion kext modified to support Atheros AR5B95-H (Atheros 9285 it seems to be known as, as well) (That's the exact card I use, could support others).

    Works perfectly. Airdrop supported natively.

    Pci id added was vendor 168c - device 303f. You can do this yourself by editing the Airportatheros40.kext in the plugins directory of your io80211family.kext. Add that in the info.plist and you're golden if this works for you (for future reference).

    Anyways, enjoy guys!

  4. Original Realtek drivers for MountainLion 10.8, work for me 10.8.2 with TP-LINK TL-WN723N USB Wifi .
    Extract, Install package , Restart . Goto System preferences network -->select USB Ethernet , Configure IPv4 Manual example (depend on your network) :
    ip:192.168.1.7
    subnet mask:255.255.255.0
    router:192.168.1.1
    DNS Server : 192.168.1.1 (configure on Advance ,select DNS, add dns server address : 192.168.1.1)

    Open Application -->WLan USB Utility-->Available Network-->Select-->Connect(put pass key) .
    It just WORKS Full Speed .
    -----------------------------------
    Becouse you need every time to run WLan USB Utility from Applications to select network to connect , put your app to run on login .
    System Preferences-->Users&Group-->LoginItems-->Add Wlan USB Utility from Applications folder.
    Every time you start MacHack , you just select network on wlan usb utility , put pass key , and connect . it just Works ....

    Locale and country fix you can edit info.plist in the DeviceMergeNub.kext.
    Or you use DSDT Code,with your Native IO80211Family.kext,good for OSX Install!
    Device (ARPT) { Name (_ADR, Zero) // _ADR: Address Name (_PRW, Package (0x02) // _PRW: Power Resources for Wake { 0x09, 0x04 }) Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) // _DSM: Device-Specific Method { Store (Package (0x0E) { "name", "pci168c,30", "device-id", Unicode ("0"), "IOName", "pci168c,30", "revision-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, "subsystem-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x9F, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, "subsystem-vendor-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x6B, 0x10, 0x00, 0x00 }, "vendor-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x8C, 0x16, 0x00, 0x00 } }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } }
    Or you add this to FakeSMC info.plist.
    <key>Atheros Wireless LAN PCI</key> <dict> <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key> <string>com.apple.driver.AirPort.Atheros40</string> <key>IOClass</key> <string>AirPort_AtherosNewma40</string> <key>IOMatchCategory</key> <string>IODefaultMatchCategory</string> <key>IONameMatch</key> <array> <string>pci168c,2e</string> </array> <key>IOProbeScore</key> <integer>700</integer> <key>IOProviderClass</key> <string>IOPCIDevice</string> </dict>
    is up to you!

    You should make sure no IO80211Family.kext files in S/L/E
    Then put this file with Kext Ultility, to make sure it work maybe after that you should use myFix or System Ultility to confirm. Cheer hope a miracle for you !!!

  15. I used 2 old kexts and managed to have fully functional marvell 88e8056 ethernet in Mountain Lion (10.8.1) Asus P5K-VM board
    First: disable in bios ethernet
    Second: boot -v npci=0x3000 DSDT=No and install Marvell88e8056.kext and IoNetworkingFamily.kext using whatever u want. System permisions and rebuild cache (V important!).
    3rd: reboot and activate in bios ethernet. Boot -v npci=0x3000 DSDT=No
    AT this point ethernet is functional. Since booted without DSdt extract a new one apply patches, insert IT in Extra, edit boot.plist npci=0x3000 and PCIroot=0 or 1 (look in ioreg to see).
    4th: reboot

    The only thing i hate about is after an intese traffic it stops working. Have no clue how to fix it.
    I'll add more devices to the source and keep only one file in the download section ...
