[Solved] Low benchmark scores - 3930k / Asus p9x79 / Evga gtx 560

Question

Low benchmark scores

3930k / Asus p9x79 / Evga gtx 560

>>SOLVED

by disabling Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Tec. in the Bios (CPU PERFORMANCE Settings)

?Hi everyone,

I've just finished my 1st Hackintosh (with great help from RampageDev). Everything is working like a charm, very smooth, but I'm getting considerably lower benchmark results compared to windows 7. I've seen people with similar rig and way better Cinebench scores (mainly cpu).

The results are the following:

Cinebench 11.5 CPU score of : WIN7 12.40 pts - OSX: 9.15

Cinebench 11.5 OpenGL score of Win7 54.02 fps - OSX: 35.12

Geekbench: OSX: 15525

Here is my system:

Motherboard: ASUS P9X79

Processor: Intel i7 3930K - Overclocked to 4.3

Graphics: Evga 560 gtx / 1g

Memory: Muskim 16 GB DDR3 SDRAM

Drive: 120GB Samsung 840 SSD

I used the awesome MyHack, a legal copy of OSX ML and a custom DSDT from RampageDev with the following Kext he provides with it:

AHCIPortinjector.Kext

AppleHDA.Kext

vOODOOtscs..Kext

I also used the 3rdpaty Sata, FakeSMC, NullCPUPowerManagement, Apple/Intel ethernet from MB{censored}.

Bootloader: Chamaleon 2.1, which I used to instal SMBios (Imac 12.2)

Thanks in advance!

Hi Rene,

Thanks for replying my post. I forgot to add in my post, the cpu is overclocked to 4.3. Not sure if I'm getting the overclock to work on OSX though.

Hi Rene,

GeekBench: 20120

CineBench: Cpu: 12.29 GPU 45.4

Slightly slower compared to win7.
