Does anyone know if the acer zg5 has been successfully Hackintoshed?
Is there a boot disk that is designed for netbooks?

But still, you need to be very careful and read it more then once. When you are completely sure about the process, only then proceed to update.

Okay... I got the bios flashed successfully.
Then I installed Champlist 2.01.
Then I downloaded the latest version of Chameleon, and now this Acer ZG5 just restarts every time it go's to the gray Apple screen.
I could re-install, but I'd like to fix the problem if I could.
It has SL 10.6.3 installed on it.
All the help I get here is most appreciated.

8. Snow Leopard 10.6.2 broke Intel Atom compatibility, so to upgrade to 10.6.2 and beyond requires using a patched kernel. I downloaded the 10.6.2 version from Insanelymac, thanks to teateam for this. The new kernel was unarchived, named mach_kernel_atom2 and placed in the root of the hard drive. Next the com.apple.boot.plist was edited to use the new kernel, as shown here:

I actually ended up installing with Nawcoms Modusb because my retail disk is 10.6.3.
It's working really well with the exception of the Chameleon thing.
Legacy kernel seams to work great in that machine.

Keep in mind that if you are using the latest versions of Chameleon you need to use the info in com.apple.boot.plist in the new org.chameleon.Boot.plist
