Smile Quick Question- Ebios error read error 0x7465C412b Sector 0

    Hi,

I have Installed Lion 10.7.1 in computer, everything is working awesome. I used to have so drives attached to this computer and I decide to reattached them to the Mobo. When I try to boot the computer, I get this weird error before iboot shows up. It says Ebios read Error 0x7465C412b Sector 0, then eventually it will boot up. If I unplugged those drives, the computer boots fine, (doesn't show the error at all). This drives use to be running in windows 7 x64bits as storage drives, nothing else. One of the drives are 2TB and the other one is 160GB. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

NOTE: Im using chimera 1.5.4 r1394 and use multibeast to install, etc...

This is a common I/O error and could be for many reasons...

But as you told that if you leave only the disk where you have Chameleon everything is OK, maybe this could be
something related to you SATA/ATA controller...

BTW, you already tried to reinstall Chameleon??? (the latest release, Chimera is a bit outdated)

Thanks for the response, so you are saying that I can basically use chameleon in stead of chimera? Is this will screw up iboot installed from multibeast? Also do you know where I can find the latest and greatest chameleon? Do I have to apple dsdt aging and all the kext, etc?

Sorry for all of this question,

    I really appreciate your help.

    Thanks

Chimera is a "Version" of Chameleon, so, you already use Chameleon...

You only have to use DSDT, SMBios, etc.. if you want...

Use this app to update and set up your Chameleon > Chameleon Wizard - Downloads - Kexts.com
