Thread: Snow Leopard on Asus G74sx...

I am curious to know, I see everything now based off my laptop (Asus G74sx), is all about the Lion OSX install on it but what about Snow Leopard? I got the Lion os to Install a few months back ,ran real just couldn't get wifi to work which in my case is pointless if wifi doesn't work so i wiped it off. I'm curious if anyone knows if theres a kext file for my Intel Centrino 6150 wifi card (has wi-max built in but I don't need that to work) for say Snow leopard? Not really sure if there would be driver/Kext differences between the two, seeing as Lion is basically just and update of snow leopard, same os.

I found out that the Intel Centrino is incompatible with Mac OS period. I've heard of people getting a Dell 1510 wifi card from Amazon or eBay, it uses a Broadcom chipset that is compatible out of the box. Wireless N, no BT. Oh, I also believe that you'll have fewer headaches if you just stick with Lion.
