hello i am typing on an acer 5750 (not g) on lion right now. use newcoms mod cd and snow leopard retail install disk to get it up and running.

out of interest i know a guy who uses your alias mozza, lives in wiltshire uk. if thats you then thats really wierd, if not ignore me and i will be happy to help.

Did you get your wifi working?
I couldn't get mine to work on my 5750.
Ended up ordering a half size card from ebay. 10 quid
Waiting for its arrival....
Neither two finger scrolling on the trackpad.
I am assuming mine is an elan pad as the synaptics kexts do not work. Although in system info app it doesn't show up.
I believe it is seen as a mouse via usb?
I haven't seen anyone to get this to work anywhere.

I got my results by using 5750g kext pack and using chimera boot loader iboot cd Laptop edition

ok guys yes i have my wifi working but mine is a modified chassis to fit bigger cards. please follow my 5750 support thread it has all the files i used for install and after (im Acro_design also) Acer 5750 Debugging kernel (10.7.x stable only) - InsanelyMac Forum

unibeast thumb drive worked for me with lion 10.7.3 from app store.Then search boot error0 problem. you need to get boot1h file to fix boot error. It involves booting into retail thumbdrive and using terminal to copy chimera boot1h file over manually to solve this. There are guides out there. And the keyboard fix is also out there too. But multibeast does not work so i installed latest chimera then installed all of 5750G kexts.
iboot 3 + snow leopard 10.6.3 from retail DVD with snow. But had to replace with kernel from iboot preimage to get it to boot without reseting at start. also kernel cache does not work with snow does with lion though.
*UPDATE on WIFI*
Half size card i ordered doesn't work not without eprom rebranding which i dont have the time for so i ordered an apple full size pcie card and will mod the case. seems the easier way. i tried everything else with the half size pcie card. The card was the same broadcom 43224 as apple had kext for. I checked the card ids and it was a perfect match. it showed green tick in system info app too! i don't believe there is a card of the correct size that will work in this machine.

for those with acer 5750g,after installing update 10.7.3 from apple update you will have intel hd 3000 working 100%.none of the graphics kext does't work for my acer.now i'm happy
